BOOKS I WANT TO READ

Jeg elsker, elsker, elsker at læse og få ny viden, eller bare blive underholdt i form af en god historie. Dog er jeg de seneste par år især blevet ellevild med alt hvad der omhandler ny viden indenfor selvudvikling, sundhed, kost og velvære. Så det er primært indenfor disse områder at jeg finder stor inspiration når jeg skal kigge efter nye bøger at læse. Jeg elsker at se hvad andre mennesker læser, især folk som jeg finder inspirerende. Og så var det jeg tænkte, at jeg da lige så godt kunne dele nogle af de bøger jeg gerne vil læse her i fremtiden, med jer. For det kunne jo være, at nogle af jer kunne få lidt inspiration til hvad i kan læse næste gang. Og I må endelig komme med bog forslag i kommentar feltet, som sagt elsker jeg at få ny inspiration!Men her er et lille udpluk af de bøger jeg gerne vil læse indenfor en nær fremtid (tro mig, listen er meget længere, så der kommer nok flere af disse indlæg):1. How Not to Die - Dr. Michael Greger   Jeps, denne bog fik jeg i min fødselsdagsgave sidste år. Men fordi det er sådan en kæmpe moppedreng, så er jeg ikke kommet igang med den (tilgengæld har jeg pløjet tusinde andre korte bøger igennem). Men når jeg får lidt god tid, så skal jeg have læst denne. Dr. Michael Greger er en sand fortaler for at man skal spise plantebaseret for sin sundhedsskyld, og i denne bog bliver der gået i dybden med hvad for noget mad der er dårligt for os, og hvad der er godt for os.2. The War of Art - Steven PressfieldJeg har førhen læst bogen "Do the work" af samme forfatter, og den var enormt inspirerende. Ligesom "Do the work", så omhandler "The War of Art" også om at forfølge sine kreative drømme. Den bearbejder emnet om at så mange af os, er bange for, eller ikke tør kaste os ud i det vi i virkeligheden gerne vil.3. The Magic of Thinking Big - David SchwartzDenne bog skulle omhandle det at drømme stort. At man ikke skal sætte sine standarder for lavt, og bare leve et middelmådigt liv, men at man skal have lov at drømme stort, og at man, ikke mindst, skal gå efter at følge disse drømme.4. Money and the Law of Attraction - Ester and Jerry HicksMan tror straks at dette kun har noget at gøre med penge, og at tiltrække flere penge, når man kigger på titlen på denne bog. Men bogen her skulle behandle alle områder af ens liv, både sundhed, karriere, forhold osv. Den går i dybden med hvordan man skal forstå og bruge 'the law of attraction', og den skulle være enormt god til virkelig at forklare principperne bag denne filosofi. 5. Perfect Health - Deepak ChopraDenne bog omhandler det indiske medicin system, som også er kendt som Ayurveda. Dette er først noget jeg er blevet bekendt med indenfor nyere tid, og som jeg stadig har enormt meget at lære. Men som jeg har forstået indtil videre, handler det om at hvis man gerne vil være rask og sund, så skal man se på kroppen ud fra et holistisk synspunkt - man skal have flere parametre med ind når man behandler sygdom i kroppen for eksempel. Det nytter ikke noget bare at give piller for et eller andet, tværtimod skal du ind og finde roden til sygdommen inde i dig selv. Det er igen lidt langhåret, men enormt interessant, og jeg tror virkelig at der er noget om snakken. Så dette emne er noget jeg gerne vil lære mere om, og jeg har tænkt mig at starte med denne bog.I love, love, love to read and gain new knowledge, or just get entertained in the form of a good story. However, the last couple of years I've been crazy into gaining new knowledge within the fields of self development, health, nutrition and wellness. I love to see what other people read, especially people I find inspirering. And I thought that I would share some of the books that I plan on reading in the near future. It might inspire some of you to what you could read next time. And please share your book recommendations in the comment section, I love to get new inspiration!But here you have some of the books I want to read in the near future (believe me, the list is much longer, so more of these posts will come):1. How Not to Die - Dr. Michael Greger I got this book as a birthday present last year. But it is such a heavy one, so I have not read anything in it yet (but I have read a thousand other small books instead). But once I get a bit more time I'm going to dig into this and read it. Dr. Michael Greger is a true spokesperson for eating a plant based diet for the sake of your health. And in this book he goes into depth with what kind of food is bad for you, and what is good for you.2. The War of Art - Steven Pressfield I've read the book "Do the work" by the same Author, and it was very inspirering. Just like "Do the work", this book is about following your creative dreams. It touches upon the subject that many of us are too scared to actually chase our true dreams and follow our passion.3. The Magic of Thinking Big - David Schwartz This book should be about dreaming big. It's about not setting low standards for your life and just live a mediocre life, but instead dream big, and not least, go after making those dreams come true.4. Money and the Law of Attraction - Esther and Jerry Hicks You immediately think that this book is about money, and how to attract more money when you look at the title. But this book should touch upon several topics of your life, such as health, career, relationships etc. It goes into depth with how to understand and how to use 'the law of attraction', and it should be really good with explaining the principles behind this philosophy.5. Perfect Health - Deepak Chopra        This book is about the indian medicin system, also known as Ayurveda. This is only something I've just recently learned about, and which I still have a lot more to learn about. But, as I have understood, it's about that if you want to be healthy and well, you need to look upon the body from a holistic point of view - you need to take more things into account when treating a disease. It does not work just to take a pill for something, instead you need to dig deep and find the root of the sickness inside you. It's a bit hippie-ish, but really interesting, and I definitely think that some of it is true. So this subject is something I want to learn much more about, and I'm planning to begin with this book.
