The importance of being grateful

Skærmbillede 2016-05-11 kl. 13.58.44I 2012 opdagede the bogen 'The Secret' af Rhonda Byrne i London. Og den ændrede mit liv fuldstændig. I bogen forklares konceptet om hvordan man kun kan tiltrække de ting man gerne vil have, ved at være taknemmelig for hvad man allerede har, samt at være taknemmelig for de ting man endnu ikke har, men som man gerne vil have. Denne her tankegang var fuldstændig revolutionerende for mig, og i starten tænkte jeg at det hele var lidt for holistisk for spirituelt for mig - men efter at have prøvet det, og set resultaterne, må jeg erkende at det virker. Jeg praktiserede taknemmelighed dagligt i det år og jeg fik opnået alle de ting jeg gerne ville, det var så vildt! (heriblandt at vinde guld til danmarksmesterskaberne i Show Dance med mit hold, og at få verdens bedste kæreste). Efter et par år glemte jeg dog mere og mere at praktisere det hver dag, indtil jeg for nylig fandt 'the Five-minute Journal' som jeg også har skrevet om her. Igen fik jeg fokus på vigtigheden af at være taknemmelig.I dag samlede jeg så bogen 'the Magic' op (som stort set er den samme som 'the Secret'), og tog med mig ned i parken for at læse i solskinnet. Igen blev jeg fuldstændig fascineret af tankegangen - og jeg vil nu begynde at praktisere det at være taknemmelig meget mere igen, for jeg har før set og oplevet på egen hånd hvordan mine ønsker går i opfyldelse! Og der er SÅ mange ting jeg gerne vil opleve op opnå, så nu skal jeg bare igang igen.På den note, vil jeg også sige TAK TAK TAK til alle der læser med herinde. Jeg ved godt at jeg ikke har synderligt mange læsere, men det betyder alverdens meget at der bare er nogle få som følger med, og som jeg håber(!) at jeg kan sprede lidt tankevækkende stof og glæde ud til.In 2012 I discovered the book 'the Secret' by Rhonda Byrne in London. And it changed my whole life. In the book the concept, about how you can only attract what you want by feeling grateful for what you already have, is explained. And how you can only attract what you want by feeling grateful for what you still do not have yet. This thought was completely revolutionary for me, and in the beginning I thought it was all a bit too spirituel for me - but after having tried it and seen the results, I must acknowledge that it actually works. I practiced gratitude daily for that year, and the things I accomplished and got was amazing! (fx I won gold at the Danish championsship in Show Dance with my team and I got the worlds best boyfriend). After a couple of years I somehow forgot to practice it daily, until I recently discovered 'the Five-minute Journal' which I also wrote about here. Once again my focus turned towards being grateful. Today I picked up the book 'the Magic' (which is almost the same as 'the Secret'), and I took it with my to the park and read in it in the sunshine. Once again I got completely fascinated by the philosophy behind it - and I now want to start practicing gratitude a lot more, because I have already seen the results that I can get and achieve by myself. And there are SO many things that I want to achieve and experience, so now I just need to get started.On that note I just want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all who read my blog. I know that I do not have many readers, but it means so much that just a few people are reading what I am writing. And I really hope that I provide you with some thoughtful material and some posts which can bring you more health and happiness in your life.
