9 TIPS FOR BETTER SLEEP
We can do all the good things for our health - exercising, drinking tons of water, eating all the veggies - but if you don’t give your body the rest it needs, it won’t be able to give you the health you’re striving for 🌱
TIPS FOR BETTER SLEEP ✨

* Avoid caffeine too late in the day, especially in the evening
⠀
* Sleeping in a cool room is good for your body
⠀
* Let fresh air into your bedroom everyday, especially before going to sleep is great
⠀
* Avoid blue light in the evening - TV, computer, mobile, tablets (see my prior post about Blue blocking glasses)
⠀
* Be active during the day
⠀
* Get some sunshine during the day
⠀
* Drink a calming herbal tea in the evening, fx with chamomile, lavender or valerian root as these have a calming and relaxing effect on the body

* Slow down in the evening and mentally prepare your body for rest
⠀
* Go to bed early, and try to get around at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night
⠀
