WHAT WE FOCUS ON GROWS
What we focus on grows. Let's focus on what we want more of, not what we worry about. Let's spread more love and kindness, and use this time to slow down, and rest and relax 🙏✨
I completely believe this. What we focus on grows. Within the last few weeks the world has been taken by storm of the corona virus. It has gone so quickly. But with the amount of attention that it gets, of course it spreads even faster.
By worrying and stressing about the situation, you're lowering your immune system, and are thereby also more vulnerable of getting the virus. Instead, we need to change our focus.
I already think many have, yesterday I felt fear and worry, but today I feel more and more love and support for others. It is beautiful to watch people stick together and show love and support.
Let's focus on that. Let's focus on how we can help and support each other. Let's focus on showing and giving love. Let's take the time off to rest and relax.
Focus on what you want to grow.
5 Ways to Grow More Love Instead of Fear
- Meditate
Meditation helps you to slow down, and focus on your breathing. Put on some calming music or a guided meditation, and take time to slow down. - Breathe
Breathing is what we need to do. Breath in fresh oxygen, this is vital for your entire system and well-being. It also relaxes the body. - Show Love & Be Supportive
Offer your help and support to those who need it. Buy groceries for your grandma, ask your neighbour if they need help with anything etc. Let's show all the love and support that we can - what we send out, we get back, always remember that. - Practice Self-Care
Perhaps you've been told to stay at home for the next 2 weeks, and you're a person who always go-go-go from one thing to the next, and have a hard time taking care of yourself? Now is the time. Slow down & take time for some self-care. - Take time to Rest & Relax
Again, our society is so used to this go-go-go mentality. So look at this time as a change to get down in gear. Slow down. Relax. Rest.
When was the last time you had no plans? When was the last time you were fully in the moment? Use this time to slow down and take care of yourself, and others.
